The Club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be scheduled once the club’s annual financial accounts have been completed and reviewed by the club’s nominated Chartered Accountants.
Under the club constitution, the financial year concludes on 31 May each year, with membership subscriptions for the new financial year becoming due from 1 June.
In accordance with the constitution, the AGM must be held between 1 July and 30 September unless another date is approved by the Committee. The AGM will consider the President’s Report, Development Officer’s Report, Statement of Accounts, and Financial Reviewer’s Report, alongside the election of officers and other general business.
Voting eligibility at the AGM is limited to current financial members of the club. Members who held financial membership during the 2025/26 membership year will be entitled to vote on the election of officers and the approval of the annual accounts.
All officer and committee positions will be open for election at the AGM. Members are strongly encouraged to participate in the governance of the club by standing for election themselves or by nominating other suitable members for committee roles for the upcoming twelve-month term.
The constitution provides for the election of the following officer positions: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Development Officer, along with up to ten committee members if required for the operation of the club.
Under the constitution, nominations for officer positions must be submitted in writing and include a nominator, seconder, and nominee, all of whom must be financial members of the club.
